Elecciones journal is a publication of the National Office of Electoral Processes (ONPE by its Spanish acronym), specializing in electoral issues. Elecciones was founded in 2002 and is dedicated to the multidimensional analysis of elections in democratic systems. The Journal publishes original and innovative articles prepared by researchers in Political Science, Law, Political Communication, and other related fields from various public and private institutions, authorities, and electoral officials interested in elections and democracy. The Elecciones Journal seeks to be a space for plural, rigorous dialogue and constant exchange between the academy and key actors of electoral governance.

Call for papers

The Editorial Committee of the Revista Elecciones invites the academic community and specialized researchers to submit original articles dedicated dedicated to the multidimensional analysis of electoral processes in democratic systems. Contributions should adopt a comprehensive perspective on the different stages of the democratic cycle, examining the role of political actors, institutional frameworks, behavioral patterns, and their impact on diverse communities and social groups.
