Estrategias del PSOE ante Podemos (2015-2016): adaptación partidista en un contexto de fragmentación política

PSOE strategies against Podemos (2015-2016): party adaptation in a context of political fragmentation

    Este estudio analiza las estrategias del PSOE entre 2015 y 2016 frente a la emergencia de Podemos como competidor clave en la izquierda española. Desde un enfoque cualitativo que combina teorías del comportamiento partidista, análisis electoral e entrevistas, se exploran factores como la evolución del voto, su volatilidad y las transferencias electorales. Los hallazgos indican que la percepción de amenaza de Podemos llevó al PSOE a ajustar sus tácticas para retener votantes y maximizar apoyos, lo que provocó tensiones internas entre facciones sobre la prioridad de un enfoque centrista o la competencia ideológica con Podemos. Estas dinámicas reconfiguraron tanto sus estrategias como su cohesión interna, y limitaron su capacidad de posicionamiento político. Este estudio contribuye a la literatura sobre adaptación estratégica de partidos en contextos de alta competencia electoral, y destaca el papel de factores organizativos y contextuales en la respuesta de partidos tradicionales frente a nuevos actores políticos en democracias modernas.

    Eduardo Bayón, Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia

    Investigador en formación del Programa de Ciencia Política en la Escuela Internacional de Doctorado de la Unidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED). Licenciado en Derecho por la Universidad de Oviedo, Graduado en Ciencias Políticas y Administración, y magíster en Derechos Fundamentales por la UNED.
