Abstract

The process of production of essays, studies and research that have been translated into articles and books published on the electoral issue in our country, is characterized by first going through a long period of gaps and later, by a stage that arouses greater interest. Factors of different types, such as short democratic periods, semi or non-competitive elections and lack of academic training in Political Science, contributed to this reality.
