Abstract
Since 2002, the National Office of Electoral Processes (ONPE) has been committed to publishing the Elecciones magazine, which in 2014 presents its fourteenth edition. This publication compiles works of recognized specialists in political and electoral issues, both national and international. The central theme of this edition is electronic voting: legislation, stakeholders, social, political and economic aspects. The study of electronic voting is of utmost importance at the national level because in the Regional and Municipal Elections of 2014, the ONPE implemented the electronic voting system in seven districts of the country located in the regions of Lima and Callao: La Punta, Pacarán, Pucusana, Punta Hermosa, Punta Negra, San Bartolo and Santa María del Mar.
