  • Abstract

In this article we will seek to investigate, on the one hand, the legal aspects, that is, the regulatory rules of the game established by the electoral legal normative system. For this, the electoral regulations will be analyzed from the electoral regulations, which were used for the parliamentary elections of 1877. On the other hand, the electoral practices and the political dynamics implemented by the actors will be studied. Defeated and involved during this electoral process, whose strategies, conflicts and alliances were not disconnected from the current electoral regulations. Although, as happened in this election, it could be manipulated, even distorted by the defeated political groups, ignoring the triumph of the victors and provoking political instability.
