Extranjeros y ciudadanía en el constitucionalismo peruano del siglo XIX

Abstract

The diverse and scarce academic works of constitutional history developed in recent years, have addressed important issues such as citizenship from a general vision and focused by its very nature to the history of Peru, universal suffrage, feminine, among other issues; however, research linked to the exercise of foreign citizenship has left an important margin for the academy due to the current public interest generated by immigration, today questioning various legal and social aspects in the constitutional state. In this sense, the present work seeks to analyze the construction and treatment of foreign citizenship in the Peruvian constitutionalism of the 19th century.
