  • Abstract

The article is a theoretical approach to m-democracy, and analyzes the issue in the theoretical context of the currents of democracy, as well as digital democracy and its types, to propose it as an alternative in the 21st century, particularly in the era post-COVID - 19. Under this approach, it reflects on m-democracy and illustrates from a proposal, seeking to articulate theory and practice. Results: the articulation between democratic theory, digital democracy and mobile democracy; a new definition of m-democracy that goes beyond the use of mobile phones, and the deterritorialized political participation that occurs with migration and globalization, which allows ubiquitous participation thanks to digital technologies.
