    • Abstract

    Throughout our republican history we observe how the meaning of terms that are considered the basis of independent life, such as citizenship, democracy, suffrage, political rights, etc., has gradually changed, to the point that it now seems incredible that almost two centuries ago they were not given the same value as today.
