  • Abstract

Based on the analysis of the many sentences emitted by Mexico’s Electoral Tribunal of the Federal Judiciary over the last twenty years, the article addresses the principles that can be applied with regard to evidence in the electoral domain. Subsequently it defines and discusses the recognized forms of evidence, then it delves into documentary evidence (public and private documents), technical evidence, expert evidence, and deduced evidence. Then, it analyzes the performance tools and supervening evidence, and concludes with the assessment of evidence and the means to provide better evidence. In summary, in this work you can appreciate the importance of the law of electoral processes and the role of the means of evidence.
